Harvard Kennedy School (HKS), officially the John F. Kennedy School of Government, is the school of public policy and government of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. HKS was founded in 1936 and has around 1 200 students. The school offers master’s degrees in Public policy, Public administration, and International development, four doctoral degrees, and various executive education programs.
Harvard Kennedy School is one of the world’s prime institutions for international security, advancing human rights, and strengthening democracy. The school is committed to the improvement of public policy and leadership.

Kistefos Public Service Fellowship Fund for Norwegian and African students
The Fisher Norwegian Public Service Graduate Fellowship Endowment Fund
The Fisher-Kistefos Norwegian Public Service Graduate Fellowship Endowment Fund, established in 2018. This is available to Norwegian students pursuing master’s degrees in Public administration at Harvard Kennedy School.
Recipients must sign a binding contract to work for at least three years in the public sector post- graduation.
The Kistefos African Public Service Graduate Fellowship Fund
The Kistefos African Public Service Graduate Fellowship Fund, established in 2015. This is for degree program candidates and executive education program participants, specifically those from African nations, interested in improving governance and public resources at all levels. Recipients must sign a binding contract to work for at least three years in their respective country’s public sector post-graduation.

How to apply
Only students who have already qualified for acceptance into Harvard Kennedy School may apply.
Eligible degrees include a Master in Public Policy, a two-year Master in Public Administration, a Master in Public Administration/International Development, or a Mid-Career Master in Public Administration.
